Who Killed Ari?
The fastest way to reach us is Settings → Get in touch inside the app. It opens your mail app with the few details we need already filled in — without them we usually cannot tell which game you are asking about.
Or write directly to pablo@hubapps.team.
How do I play?
Every character has a card saying where they were. Read the cards, place each character on the map, and the one square left over is where Ari was — and whoever was alone with her there did it. There is always exactly one answer, and you never have to guess: every case can be solved by reasoning alone.
The full walkthrough is in the app: Settings → How to play, any time you want it.
What do the four tools do?
- Place — put the selected character on a square.
- Maybe — mark a square as a possibility you are still considering.
- Cross out — mark a square as ruled out.
- Erase — undo a mark.
Hint places the character you currently have selected, correctly. If that character is already on the board it will say so and cost you nothing.
I lost my progress
Write to us from Settings → Get in touch. The message carries the two identifiers the app uses to recognise your game, and those are what let us work out what happened — a backup that never ran, a reinstall under a different account, a second device. Please do not delete those lines from the message.
Is a case ever unsolvable?
No. Every case is checked before it ships: it must be solvable by reasoning alone and must have exactly one solution. If you ever find one that appears not to be, please tell us the case number — that is a bug we would very much want to know about.
Does the game need the internet?
No. Every case is generated and checked on your phone, so you can play anywhere. When you are online, the app sends anonymous crash and progress reports and loads its ads, all described on the privacy page.
Privacy
No accounts, and the app never asks for your name, your email or your location. From version 1.1 it sends anonymous crash reports and counts of how far players get, and it shows ads through AppLovin: an optional video in exchange for a hint, and now and then an ad between two cases. On iPhone you choose whether ads may use your advertising identifier. The details, and what you can say no to, are on the privacy page.
